Liver ultrasound revealed a notable decrease in hepatic steatosis in four out of five participants, with one participant showing no change. FibroScan results indicated a reduction in liver stiffness, suggesting an improvement in liver fibrosis.

Discussion on the Impact of Sermorelin

The observed improvements in liver function and reduction in hepatic steatosis and fibrosis suggest that Sermorelin may have a beneficial effect on NAFLD. The enhancement of GH secretion likely contributed to improved insulin sensitivity and lipid metabolism, key factors in the pathogenesis of NAFLD. These findings align with previous studies that have demonstrated the metabolic benefits of GH in various conditions.

Limitations and Future Directions

While this case series provides promising insights into the potential of Sermorelin for NAFLD management, it is limited by its small sample size and lack of a control group.
